Associate, Operational Control
About the Role:
Due to continued growth, we have a new opportunity for an Associate to join our Operational Control team. In this role, you will get hands on experience with bank reconciliations from start to finish, investigating transactions and more... and the best part – you will get full training on the job!
This role is ideal for a recent Finance or Business Administration graduate who has a high level of attention to detail and is eager to grow their career with an ambitious company on an exciting growth journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigating transactions and monitor all banking activities to detect irregularities
- Perform the reconciliation and verification of accounts regarding funds at bank and investor funds as recorded in the registry system
- Follows up all transactions continuously and provide updates and reporting to clients/management
- Adhere to corporate standards and procedures in all reconciliation activities
- Respond to client enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain a professional image for the business
- Provide feedback to the division on how to improve on internal controls, and pinpoint areas where risks relating to banking transactions can be minimised
About You:
To be successful:
- Tertiary qualification in Finance or Business Administration or relevant discipline
- High level of attention to detail
- Eager to learn and develop
- Experience using Microsoft Excel preferred but not essential
