About BDO

At BDO Australia, our why is ‘empowering people, realising possibilities’. One way we bring this to life is by hiring and developing exceptional talent, to deliver on our wide array of audit, tax and advisory services.

About the Role

Join our Graduate Program as a Graduate Consultant within our Corporate & International Tax team, starting January 2027.

Our Corporate & International Tax team works with Australian and international organisations, helping them navigate complex tax obligations, manage risk and respond to changing legislation.

From supporting day-to-day compliance requirements to advising on business transactions, international expansion and strategic projects, the team helps clients understand the tax implications of important business decisions.

Why Choose Corporate & International Tax?

If you're interested in the intersection of business, law and strategy, Corporate & International Tax offers the opportunity to work on complex issues that influence how organisations operate, invest and grow.

You'll help clients navigate changing legislation, manage tax obligations and understand the tax implications of important business decisions. Whether it's supporting an international expansion, advising on a business restructuring or assisting with a major transaction, you'll gain exposure to work that combines technical expertise with commercial thinking.

One of the things that makes Corporate & International Tax unique is the variety of issues you'll be exposed to.

You could find yourself supporting work for:

  • An Australian business expanding into international markets
  • A multinational organisation navigating Australian tax requirements
  • A business buying, selling or restructuring operations
  • A client managing complex tax compliance obligations
  • An organisation seeking advice on the tax implications of major business decisions

Because tax plays an important role in commercial decision-making, Corporate & International Tax professionals often work closely with clients to help them manage risk, navigate complexity and identify opportunities.

This variety means you'll develop strong technical expertise while gaining valuable insight into how businesses operate, make decisions and respond to an increasingly complex global environment.

As a Corporate & International Tax Graduate at BDO, you can expect to:

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns, activity statements and other tax compliance obligations
