Our Graduate Program provides a group of ambitious and enthusiastic graduates a fantastic opportunity to join the fast paced and exciting world of food and beverage manufacturing!

What to Expect:

You will undertake a comprehensive 2-year rotational program with a focus on technical knowledge and skills, business acumen and personal development opportunities to prepare you for an exciting career.

You will work on day-to-day activities to support your immediate team, as well as engage in challenging and meaningful projects. You will be in a highly supportive and collaborative environment that promotes flexibility and a respectful and caring culture.

You will develop soft and hard skills, as well as gain the resources to cultivate a broad network, setting you up for success into the future. You will be offered a broad range of experiences through our diverse range of products and brand portfolio, so you can continue to grow and succeed. 

Highlights:

• Three 8-month rotations providing in-depth experience across key business functions.
• Development and support including; a comprehensive induction, on-the-job learning, and mentors for professional development.

As an Engineering Graduate you will:

• Analyse line performance data, support projects, assist with CAPEX proposals and help schedule contractor work.
• Learn engineering systems, including CAD, PLC and SCADA, factory automation, co-bots, machine learning applications and intuitive controls.
• Contribute to safety by taking part in risk assessments, hazard identification and safety committee discussions.
• Work with manufacturing teams to co-lead improvement projects.
• Gain quality experience through morning taste panels, testing, audits and representing the department in T1 and T2 meetings.
• Build your site and supply chain understanding through visits to other Bega sites and raw materials supplier sites, where required.
• Be supported through a structured rotation plan, experienced site teams, assigned buddies and shadowing opportunities.
• Develop the technical, analytical, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills to grow into a future engineering leader.
• While most graduates complete three 8-month rotations, the Engineering stream may include up to six rotations, offering a unique opportunity to experience a broader range of sites, teams and engineering disciplines.
