Graduate Engineer | Mechanical or Mechatronics - Immediate Start

Join an expanding Newcastle-based boutique engineering consultancy, specialising in the rail sector. With particular strength in rolling stock design, on site testing, maintenance and project engineering, the business punches well-above its weight, partnering with some of the largest names in the rail industry. Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking a Graduate Engineer in either Mechanical or Mechatronics to join the organisation.

Based out of their centrally located Newcastle office, you will work closely with their highly experienced Senior Engineer in providing engineering advice to their clients. In this broad-based role, you will be exposed to multiple types of rolling stock, including locomotives, track machines and freight wagons. You will have the opportunity to develop solutions using your mechanical or mechatronic knowledge, with the ability to work closely with clients and roll your sleeves up on client sites.

This is a great opportunity for a recently graduated Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to work closely with a leader in the industry and develop a speciality in the rail sector. You will be keen to learn with a willingness to take on new challenges and give things a go. Whilst you will be mentored closely by the Senior Engineer, as you develop your skills you will be increasingly comfortable in working autonomously and effectively managing your time. Whilst not essential, experience with Solidworks CAD and FEA, along with object orientated programming languages would be advantageous.

The opportunity is also available for an undergraduate Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer, aiming to graduate mid-2021. This would provide you with the opportunity to initially work part-time whilst undertaking your studies, then move into a full-time role once your studies are completed.

Please apply via the ‘Apply Now’ button or online at www.beilbydt.com.au, quoting job reference 272922. Your application must include a CV, cover letter and academic transcript. For initial enquiries or assistance in making your application, please contact Nick Novak on (02) 4044 0400.
