Graduate Accountant - Immediate Start

The Opportunity

Black Cat Civil has an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our finance and administration team based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. 

Reporting to our Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be exposed to end to end accounting processes, whilst supporting our internal divisions with their specific accounting requirements. 

This role will suit applicants that have recently completed their accounting degrees with any experience in the civil construction, building or mining industries highly regarded.

We are looking for a motivated individual, who enjoys a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Collation of end of month claims and submissions
• Business accounting
• Credit card reconciliations
• Vendor and account reconciliation
• Review and support of payroll processes

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will have:

• Degree qualified Accounting professional.
• Experience in construction, mining or logistics will be highly regarded.
• Previous experience with Cheops will be highly regarded.
• Organised and well planned.
• Enjoy detail and working autonomously.
• Someone that engages well with people.
