Research & Development Internship Program

The internships, which are practical work-placement programs designed to provide the intern professional ​experience in specialised areas of research and development with the aim of providing industry specific opportunities is to enable the intern to develop skills that will enhance their prospects of gaining meaningful employment, building the student’s career and starting their future.

As often as ‘Research’ and ‘Development’ are placed together, both are very different though they may share a very strong connection.

When businesses engaged in RD, their outcomes are uncertain as this aligns with the broader academic community of the field where individual may not share similar goals or objectives. This uncertainty creates indefinite possibilities for researcher and developers to experiment and discover given their expertise.

Through the internship, students will gain knowledge and insights through the activities conducted by host organisation. The workplace exposure can help students experience a wider perspectives on how their field work contributes to the advancement in science or technology .

An internship placement in the RD field creates opportunities for student to work in diverse sectors and performing an array of tasks:
