Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and looking for an exciting opportunity to educate your local community about sustainability matters? Position Overview: The primary purpose of this role is to develop and coordinate sustainability education programs and implement initiatives to meet Council’s sustainability targets. This will involve delivering waste education, water and sewerage education, coordinating environmental sustainability events and providing other Council teams with communication support. This role also includes working closely with schools, the general community, and other stakeholders. Who we are looking for: We are seeking a dedicated individual who is passionate about environmental sustainability in their local community. The successful candidate for this role will be a self-motivated individual with the capacity to coordinate and deliver a range of environmental messaging to different audiences and a demonstrated ability to produce quality communication and educational material.
