Environmental Health Officer– Permanent Role – RDO – Lease Back Vehicle About Us Dungog Shire Council supports a growing rural community of over 9000 residents in the Hunter region of NSW. About the Role We are looking for an environmental health professional (Grade 9) to join our Planning and Environment team. In this role you will undertake programmed inspections and investigations as well as developing and implementing management plans across the environmental health portfolio. This includes on-site sewage management, swimming pools, protection of the environment, public health and food safety.   Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the application of environmental health legislation in a local government context is essential for this role.  What’s on Offer The position is offered on a full time basis and is placed at grade 9 of Councils salary system. The salary offered is in the range of $75,000 to $84,800 per annum depending upon competency level and in accordance with Council’s Salary Policy plus superannuation. A lease back vehicle is available as part of the role and Market Allowance may be available for suitably qualified applicants. This position is offered on a 19 day/4 week basis with ongoing training and professional development.
