About the Opportunity
Maitland City Council's Pathways program is a fantastic way to kick-start your career and gain professional experience in local government!

We are looking for a Graduate Information Technology to join our organisation for a period of two years.

In this role, you will undertake a graduate program in our Customer and Digital Services team, performing a variety of information technology functions including IT end-user support and troubleshooting, security systems, network and systems administration, business solutions and other general IT duties.

About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Degree level qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline within the previous two (2) years.
  • Contemporary industry experience providing information technology services in a customer driven environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in research, analysis, and presentation of information.
  • Solid demonstrated computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits
This Graduate position is temporary full time (two-year contract) with a weekly salary range of $66,346 to $73,645.16 per annum, based on experience, plus 11% p.a. superannuation. Graduates will also have access to Council's great staff benefits such as flexible working arrangements and Fitness Passport.
