Graduates - Restructuring & Advisory Cor Cordis, Brisbane
AI Job Summary
Not your typical restructuring firm. Not your typical graduate role.
For 20 years, Cor Cordis has been working with mid-market businesses at their most critical moments, when financial pressure threatens everything they have built. But here’s what makes us different: we don't see insolvency as the inevitable outcome. We see it as the last resort.
What we do
We help businesses facing complex financial challenges find a way forward. Sometimes that's restructuring. Sometimes it's a turnaround. Sometimes it's finding an innovative solution no one else considered. Our Brisbane team specialises in using the skills gained from managing insolvencies to avoid them wherever possible, preserving not just profitability, but privacy and reputation as well.
We work across all sectors: financial services, manufacturing, retail, property, construction, mining, and agribusiness. Every client is different. Every situation is unique. So the solutions need to be, too.
What you’ll be doing
As a graduate, you will work alongside diverse experts from varied professional backgrounds, including our Brisbane leaders. You will be exposed to:
- Restructuring and turnaround strategies
- Financial analysis and investigations
- Stakeholder negotiations and complex problem-solving
- Advisory work that shapes business outcomes
- Real client situations from day one
This isn't a role where you'll spend years on the sidelines. You will be part of the team solving real problems for real businesses, learning how to listen deeply, think strategically, and execute with precision.
Who you are
You are a final year accounting or commerce student graduating in late 2026 or early 2027. You are curious about how businesses work and what happens when they don't. You want to understand the full picture before jumping to solutions. You're comfortable with complexity and ambiguity. You can think strategically but also roll up your sleeves to get things done.
You are looking for more than a graduate program. You want a place where your work matters, where you are challenged, and where you can see the direct impact of what you do.
Why Cor Cordis
We are a leading independent advisory and restructuring firm with national presence across Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney, deliberately mid-sized so you work directly with senior leaders and see how your contributions shape outcomes. We are values-driven: we embrace differences, lead with integrity, and believe together we succeed.
Our approach is collaborative, not hierarchical. We value fresh perspectives and diverse thinking. And we believe the best solutions come from understanding the business as deeply as the numbers.
