The CSL Internship Program is a paid 10-week program for undergraduate and postgraduate university students in their second-last year of study.
Our program is designed to give you hands-on experience and build your skills through learning and development opportunities, all while working alongside and learning from a diverse group of professionals who are leaders in their field.
Throughout your journey, you’ll be supported by a dedicated Program Manager, your line manager, and one of our current graduates, with exposure to a variety of teams and functions across the business. At the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply and be considered for an early offer to join our award-winning Graduate Program the following year.

As an Intern in the Corporate and External Affairs stream you will be involved in activities that support CSL’s Communications and Government Affairs strategy, contributing to and promoting positive employee culture and building the company’s reputation with stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to work with the local and global Corporate and External Affairs team who work across multiple streams including Internal Engagement, Corporate Affairs and Media, Digital communications, Government and Public Policy, and Community Relations. You will gain experience in day-to-day operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment and contribute to projects at our Australian sites.
You will have the chance to:
- Leverage and further develop your written, verbal, multimedia and digital communications skills with hands-on experience implementing communications campaigns
- Help plan and showcase activities, events and conferences for our Australian employees
- Contribute to the development of CSL’s community and employee engagement strategy for 2027
