The CSL Internship Program is a paid 10-week program for undergraduate and postgraduate university students in their second-last year of study.
Our program is designed to give you hands-on experience and build your skills through learning and development opportunities, all while working alongside and learning from a diverse group of professionals who are leaders in their field.
Throughout your journey, you’ll be supported by a dedicated Program Manager, your line manager, and one of our current graduates, with exposure to a variety of teams and functions across the business. At the end of the program, you’ll have the opportunity to apply and be considered for an early offer to join our award-winning Graduate Program the following year.

As an undergraduate in the Operational Excellence stream, you will be involved in activities that support the efficient delivery of our products to patients. You will work with both local and global Operational Excellence teams across Manufacturing, Quality, and Data Analytics, helping to support the implementation of company strategy.
Throughout the program, you’ll gain exposure to multiple disciplines and build strong foundational capabilities, with both local and global context, that are transferable across roles in our manufacturing environment.
You will have the chance to:
- Develop and implement improvement initiatives aligned to our company strategy and Compelling Business Needs (CBN)
- Contribute to building a continuous improvement mindset using our End-to-End Operating System and associated tools
- Use data analytics to generate insights and support data-driven decision-making in areas such as yield, capacity, cycle time, and right-first-time
- Support the delivery of workshops and training using Lean methodology and best-practice improvement frameworks
