Jindivick Primary School is a small rural school located close to the regional towns of Drouin and Warragul. With approximately 50 students across three composite classes (Prep/1, 2/3 and 4-6), we offer a supportive, community-focused environment where every student is known and valued.

This position is for a Year 4-6 classroom teacher, 3 days per week (days are negotiable).

About the role and school structure

• Highly supportive leadership with a strong instructional focus on literacy.
• For the first two hours each day, students are grouped into four targeted literacy classes (Prep, 1/2, 3/4 and 5/6), allowing for smaller group sizes and targeted instruction.
• A clear and consistent approach to teaching, with a strong emphasis on explicit instruction and the Gradual Release of Responsibility model.
• Teachers work collaboratively to plan, reflect and ensure consistency across the school.
