A Little About Us:

If you’re interested in joining a purpose driven community that is dedicated to creating a fun, diverse and inclusive workplace, join eBay Australia.

With a 24 year heritage and millions of unique monthly visitors, eBay is Australia’s most loved shopping destination. This is your chance to join the team shaping the future of e-commerce. You’ll be joining a truly global company, allowing you to network internationally and leverage key learnings from all over the world. You’ll also become a valuable member of our Australia office where we pride ourselves on our entrepreneurial mindset and welcoming attitudes towards all new team mates.

Our eBay Graduates:

One of our key beliefs at eBay is to inspire, empower and grow richly diverse teams and communities. We support a genuinely diverse and inclusive work environment and we really encourage Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders, people of culturally diverse backgrounds, diverse physical-ability and all LGBTI+ people to apply.

We all share a desire to support the growth and development of our emerging talent - we’re a fast-paced and agile workplace backed by a fun and supportive environment that is focused on helping our graduates learn and grow their careers faster than anywhere else.

So, whoever you are and whatever your background / life experience, bring it to eBay.

Program Highlights:

Throughout this program you will learn, discover and contribute to our growing organisation by:

  • Completing 2-4 rotations through the Engineering department
  • Opportunity to rotate through Product or Analytics
  • Growing within a dynamic team with on the job experience
  • Being mentored by experienced leaders who will work with you to achieve your career goals
  • Opportunity to contribute to eBay's native apps.

This program is designed to challenge and develop your skills across a range of departments and projects. You'll be based in our York Street office in Sydney and part of our O Week orientation designed specially for our Graduates to help ensure we welcome and set you up for success. During your 18 months, you will have the opportunity to own projects relating to the business area you are supporting and provide executional support on key initiatives.

Job Requirements!

We don’t believe in posting a long list of requirements for a graduate position. Whilst we value your university results, extracurricular activities and work experience, we also want to hear about your key drivers and motivations for your future career. We are looking for an emerging superstar Java developer and therefore a degree in software engineering is ideal, but we are open minded as long as you have proven development skills, a passion for e-commerce and helping us create great customer experiences in partnership with our 40,000 Australian retailers. So, if you are a recent graduate or will have graduated by January 2024, then apply now. We look forward to getting to know you!

Applications close on August 26th 2023 so ensure you apply prior to then to be considered.

Please note that applicants must have full working rights within Australia, and be able to attend the Sydney office regularly.
