Enel Green Power, within the Enel Group, develops and operates renewable energy plants worldwide.
We manage more than 1,200 power plants on five continents. We’re present with assets in operation or under construction in around 21 countries and manage development activities in a further five countries.

Enel Green Power entered the Australian market in 2017 with the construction of one of Australia’s largest solar plants, Bungala Solar Farm located in South Australia. Our Australian operations now include three solar plants with a consolidated capacity of around 310 megawatts (MW). We have a significant pipeline of further wind and solar projects under development across Australia.

About the Role

As our HR Intern, you are a problem solver and able to approach problems through lateral thinking. You’re self-motivated, flexible and able to take initiatives. Most of all, you have the ability to work in a team, autonomously and with numerous departments in a matrix global structure.
This unique and exciting role will allow you to gain hands-on and operational HR experience in a multi-national organisation. You will be mentored and trained in providing general administration duties to support HR functions, whilst professionally developing your experience and knowledge through a variety of key HR practices, events and initiatives.
This role is ideal for a final year student or recent graduate who is available to work 2-3 days per week. Hours will accommodate the class schedule.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment initiatives, including induction and onboarding activities
  • Create and maintain employee files, records and documentation
  • Support with global initiatives (projects, training and events)
  • Assist with organizing learning and development initiatives
  • Support with payroll preparation by providing relevant data
  • Assist with general administration duties to support HR function
  • Assist HR team with other ad-hoc tasks as required

What we are looking for:

  • A passion for HR and understanding the needs of a global and diverse workforce
  • Willingness to learn and positive attitude
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel and Word) and be able to pick up new systems easily
