About the role
In the vacation student Electrical Engineer role, gain hands-on experience supporting the maintenance, reliability and performance of electrical systems across the mine site. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to projects that help ensure safe, efficient and reliable mining operations.
Some of your work may include:
- Assist with electrical maintenance and improvement projects.
- Support inspections of electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Analyse electrical performance and reliability data.
- Contribute to troubleshooting and fault-finding activities.
- Assist with project planning, reporting and documentation.
- Work with operational teams to improve equipment reliability and availability.

Roster: 5:2/4:3
Included: Residential housing, site transport, flights at the start and end of the program.
About you
We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands-on and keen to grow their technical skills.
You’ll be:
- Studying electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Genuine interest in electrical systems, maintenance or heavy industry.
- A strong problem-solver with analytical thinking skills.
- A confident communicator and team player.
- Willing to live and work in a regional mining environment.
- Hold a valid manual driver's licence.
