About the role

Some of your work may include:

• Assist with the development of medium-term mine plans and production schedules
• Support mine design activities for underground and/or open pit operations
• Analyse operational and production data to identify improvement opportunities
• Assist with mine planning software and reporting processes
• Participate in planning, production and safety meetings
• Contribute to projects focused on productivity, efficiency and mine optimisation
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists and operational teams to support mining outcomes

Roster: 5:2/4:3
Included: Residential housing, site transport, flights at the start and end of the program.

About you

We're looking for motivated students who are curious, hands-on and keen to grow their technical skills.

You'll be:

• Studying Mining Engineering or a related discipline
• Interested in mine planning, mine design and operational optimisation
• A strong problem-solver with analytical thinking skills
• Curious and willing to learn from experienced professionals
• A confident communicator and team player
• Willing to live and work in a regional mining environment
• Hold a valid manual driver's licence
