FactSet's Consultants are the essential connection between our clients and our software business. As a Consultant, after an initial 5 week class room based training period, we invest a great deal in our employees' training and mentoring. As a FactSet Consultant you will be given immediate responsibility, working directly on exciting and challenging projects and delivering business solutions for our clients in either Investment Management or Investment Banking teams.
Consultants will be offering support in a variety of ways, including:
- Answering day to day client queries and providing creative solutions through our helpdesk;
- Working on large scale projects that optimise our clients' workflows;
- Visiting clients in their offices to provide on-site consultation and training;
- Training clients at their desks or in groups;
- Managing a group of accounts assigned to you, ensuring that the relationship is healthy and that clients are getting the most out of the system.

Job Requirements
We welcome ambitious, team players with proven ability to take initiative and find creative solutions. Applicants must have a genuine interest in Finance, as well as the desire to continually learn and develop in an ever-changing environment. In addition we require:
- A recent graduate with a good bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong numeric, analytical & problem solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience in a client/customer facing role, or a desire to excel in this area
- A strong knowledge of PC applications, in particular Microsoft Excel
- Fluent English
- A commercial attitude
Although FactSet considers ambitious graduates from any discipline and candidates with industry experience, we favour those with a background in finance, business, IT, mathematics or economics.
