Your first 12 weeks
You will work hands-on with object-oriented programming, Java, Spring Boot, React, Python, JavaScript, Git, SQL, cloud platforms, and AI integrations. You will learn how software is designed, built, tested, improved, and supported.
Roles you could move into
- AI Engineer. Work with AI integrations as part of engineering teams building, improving, and supporting modern applications.
- Software Developer. Design and build complex, scalable systems using sound engineering principles.
- DevOps Engineer. Build fast, reliable pipelines to streamline development and deployment, so features can be delivered effectively.
- Site Reliability Engineer. Design resilient cloud infrastructure to support the demands of modern applications.
- Production Support Analyst. Investigate and troubleshoot application issues and provide timely solutions.

What you need to bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or a related technical field
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking

- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Open to relocate for Sydney or Melbourne projects, with support
- Commitment to FDM's 2.5-year Graduate Program
Working arrangement
Office-based three to five days per week, depending on the client.
