Job description - Business Development Representative
In this junior role as the Business Development Representative, you will help the sales team identify and connect with construction companies.
You will be the first point of contact for potential customers and creating qualified opportunities for the sales team to close. There is a real opportunity to learn how to research leads, start meaningful conversations and help construction companies benefit from their platform.
Key Responsibilities - Business Development Representative
In this Business Development Representative role, your tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Prospecting leads: research and identify key stakeholders and reach out via phone, email and LinkedIn
- Qualifying leads: Determine how suitable prospects are for the platform through discovery conversations
- Nurturing leads: Educate prospects about the solution and handle any objections
- Collaborate with the sales team to book meetings with Account Executives
- Review process and track results to continuously improve conversion rates
Job requirements - Business Development Representative
- Ideally, some experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced or tech-focused environment
- An interest in developing sales skills
- Self-motivated and driven to meet targets
- Confident presentation skills
- Any exposure to construction processes, platforms or job site workflows is a plus!
