AI Job Summary

As a Legal Analyst in our ALT Disputes team, you will work closely with highly experienced senior lawyers on discovery and discovery support services, evidence preparation and trial preparation workflows and other information-intensive aspects of Disputes matters.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting document review (including undertaking detailed analysis of complex factual issues, legal professional and other privileges, sensitivity, and confidentiality), and at times providing other support throughout the discovery and evidence phases of litigation on large-scale legal matters.
  • Working with the industry-leading document review platform Relativity and other market-leading legal technology, including AI-based applications.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial disciplines on matters (e.g. daily time recording).
  • Carrying out activities as specified to ensure the matter and/or project is delivered in an efficient and timely matter.
  • Providing general matter support to the Legal Manager, Senior Solicitors and Solicitors as required.

Skills & experience:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Completed a tertiary degree or postgraduate qualification in law.
  • Excellent attention to detail; aim to get it right the first time.
  • Ability to review, analyse and organise documents and facts.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of software and IT applications and using software tools to navigate large databases and document management systems.

ALT's key products and services include document review for regulatory and large-scale contentious matters, supporting with evidence and trial preparation workflows, claims assessment, due diligence, commercial contracting, funds' repapering, client technology services (including advisory and document review software) and asset management for real estate clients.
