ROLE OVERVIEW

As an Intern Accountant you will be responsible for the timely processing of invoices, expense claims, and payments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of intercompany recharging process.
  • Preparation of payment documentation for local and overseas suppliers via EFT or wire transfer.
  • Management of accounts payable function including invoice approvals and payments.
  • Maintenance of employee expense claims.
  • Organizing supporting documents to the trial balance work papers; prepares information for these audits.
  • Assist with month end and year-end ledger close.
  • Preparation of monthly bank and month end journals into Oracle JD Edwards accounting system across group entities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Working towards or recently completed a relevant degree in finance or equivalent.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills, with an eagerness to learn.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Interest in the property industry.
  • Knowledge working with Oracle JD Edwards is an advantage but not essential.
