Our NZI business is hiring graduates based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), commencing on 8 February 2027. For over 165 years, NZI Insurance has been protecting Kiwi businesses around New Zealand. Part of IAG New Zealand Limited (known as IAG), we actively help Kiwis manage their risks and provide support through thick and thin. This is an 18-month full-time program that offers multiple rotations and exposure within your chosen field. From day one, you will be a permanent full-time employee and will have a permanent role upon completion. Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You’ll Do
- Gain exposure to the fundamentals of insurance and develop the skills to succeed across a range of roles and career pathways
- Rotate through diverse areas to gain hands-on experience and help shape real change across Marketing, Risk, Underwriting, Business Development and Transformation and Strategy
- Work on projects that matter, from sustainability initiatives to technology driven process improvements
- Build strong relationships across the business and learn from industry leaders as you grow your capability and confidence
- Apply a commercial lens and build a strong understanding of business insurance through practical exposure
- Thrive in a collaborative, innovative and climate conscious culture, with the support and opportunities to grow and make an impact
Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring
- A university degree or higher (graduated in 2024-2025) or be in your penultimate year of university with graduation expected by the end of 2026 – ideally in commerce or business but we underwrite across many industries so any disciplines in the renewables, transport and logistics, construction and engineering, property and data science would be welcomed
- A credit average achievement (65%+)
- Australian and/or New Zealand citizen, or you hold valid work rights in New Zealand for the duration of the program
- A driven, enthusiastic, team-focused mindset
- Ability to work 3 days per week in the Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland NZI/CBD) office
