Our NZ Enterprise Graduate Program offers ambitious graduates the opportunity to build a meaningful career while making a real impact from day one. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and starting 9 February 2027, you'll rotate across teams in Transformation, Data & AI, Digital, and Claims, gaining exposure to strategic initiatives, emerging technologies and complex business challenges that shape the future of IAG.

This 18-month program is designed to accelerate your development through diverse rotations, hands-on experience, structured learning and strong support networks. You'll be a permanent full-time employee from day one, with a permanent role waiting for you at program completion.

Ngā Mahi Hei Whakatutuki Māu | What You'll Do

As part of the program, you'll gain hands-on experience working on initiatives that matter. You'll collaborate with experts across Transformation, Data & AI, Digital and Claims, helping solve complex business challenges, improve customer experiences and shape the future of insurance. 

  • Contribute to strategic projects that deliver real business and customer outcomes.
  • Support AI, automation and digital transformation initiatives that are changing how we work.
  • Partner with teams across IAG to understand problems, uncover opportunities and develop practical solutions.
  • Apply agile ways of working to deliver value and continuously improve outcomes.
  • Use data, insights and analysis to inform decisions and recommendations.
  • Bring new perspectives, fresh ideas and curiosity to help challenge existing ways of working and drive innovation.

Ōu Pūkenga me ōu Wheako | What You'll Bring

  • A university degree or higher (graduated in 2024-2025) or be in your penultimate year of university with graduation expected by the end of 2026 – any degrees will be considered, with AI components will be highly desired
  • A credit average achievement (65%+)
  • Australian and/or New Zealand citizen, or you hold valid work rights in New Zealand for the duration of the program 
  • A driven, enthusiastic, team-focused mindset
  • Curious and adaptable, quick to learn, eager to explore AI and new ways of working and comfortable navigating change
  • Ability to work min 2 days per week in the Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) NZI office
