About the Opportunity: Graduate Electrical Engineer – Transmission & Distribution
The Energy Networks & Power team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges in providing stable base load supply, replacing conventional thermal power plant with renewable energy and developing demand side management strategies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join Jacobs’ Transmission & Distribution team in South Brisbane. In this role you will apply electrical engineering principles with innovative solutions in utility and industrial projects with a focus around sustainability and renewable energy technology applications. Projects that you could work on include grid connection and industrial system studies, concept and detailed HV design related to brownfield and greenfield projects as well as a range of site based opportunities for a number of projects we are managing through construction and commissioning.

The successful candidate will:
- Have completed your degree no later than January 2020 (Electrical Engineering)

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
