About the Opportunity: Graduate Surveyor

Our Water, Environment & Spatial team have an established reputation for delivering successful projects across Australia and as a result, we have a strong pipeline of works. The Spatial team specialises in spatial data management/engineering surveys, GIS analysis and presentation.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Graduate Surveyor to join our North Sydney team. Your role with Jacobs will include supporting engineering design by managing the collection, processing, integration and analysis of geospatial data. By joining the Jacobs Graduate Program, you will be given the opportunity to develop data management workflows and practices for survey and digital engineering capabilities to use survey and spatial data throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have completed your degree no later than January 2020 (Surveying, Geomatics, or similar)
  • Possess a manual driver’s license
  • Have some experience using standard computer-based survey tools
  • Show a keen interest in developing a career in Surveying
  • Be technically inquisitive
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team B
  • e an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
