Your opportunity

The KPMG Graduate Program is a permanent program for final year students and recent grads.

Through our program, you will:

  • Be supported through structured Graduate Pathway learning that will help you grow with us. You’ll develop essential leadership and consulting skills needed for your role.
  • Have the dedicated support of a buddy and performance development manager.
  • Work with our diverse clients and help them solve complex issues

To be eligible for our grad program you need to have recently graduated (typically this is within the last two years) or be graduating by December 2023.

We have graduate opportunities available in our External Audit division:

Accounting & Finance – External Audit

Grow your technical knowledge and skills in project management, data analytics and problem solving as you help our clients to assess business risk and improve systems and processes.

External audit plays a significant role in maintaining the confidence of capital markets and unlocking insights for businesses. Audit Quality is fundamental to our purpose. You’ll use automation to streamline.

financial reporting or add value beyond the financial statement audit by providing assurance over other business drivers such as governance, risk, internal controls and KPIs.

For this role, our Accounting & Finance - Audit teams require graduates to be eligible to start the Chartered Accountant's Australia and New Zealand CA program following graduation.

About our recruitment process & key dates

Here’s what you can expect from our process:

  • Online application — you’ll upload your CV and answer a few basic questions
  • Online assessments – next you’ll complete two assessments. Both should take between 10 – 15 minutes to complete.
  • Assessment centre — you’ll meet with someone from our Audit team for a 30-minute interview.
  • Offer

And here are a few key dates and timeframes for your diary:

  • Applications close – 25th June 2023
  • 48 hours to complete your online assessment once you receive the invite
  • Assessment centre invites – 29th June 2023
  • Assessment centres – 4th & 5th July 2023
  • Outcomes – 10th July 2023
  • Sydney Graduate start date - 8th January 2024
  • National Graduate start dates – 12th February 2024
