Early career Master of Management

The changing global economic landscape and emergence of new industries, technologies and entrepreneurial enterprises means that it is critical for emerging leaders to acquire management skills earlier in their careers. To cater to this growing demand, our new Master of Management is crafted to provide continuous education to recent graduates and early career professionals, with either business or non-business related undergraduate degrees.

Who is the MMgmt designed for?

This program is designed for students who have recently graduated from an undergraduate degree from any disciplinary background and who are looking to build up their skills and experience for a career in business management or management consultancy.

Program Structure & Length

The Master of Management is undertaken over 2 years of full-time study at the pace of 2 units per term. Students who possess an undergraduate degree in business related areas may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning for up to 4 units enabling completion of the program over 18 months of full-time study.

The MMgmt course includes ten carefully selected foundation units that are designed to give you the core skills required to function as an effective leader. In addition to the core units, you can choose six elective units to tailor your qualification and more deeply develop your skills in specific areas.

Master of Management students have the opportunity to build their professional experience and apply their classroom learning through an internship, equivalent to two units of study.

  • Certified copy of academic transcripts
  • Resume/CV
  • Statement of personal aims and achievements
  • Referee reports (please submit 2 referees’ reports with your application).

When to apply

We recruit all year around and have multiple semester intakes to suit your schedule. The next semester applications close 07 August 2015.

Eligibility

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution.

International applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds are required to demonstrate proficiency in English. Minimum English Language Proficiency: IELTS of 6.5 overall, with minimum 6.0 in each band.
