mi-fi was founded in 2011 with a mission to build an accounting and advisory firm from the ground up to meet the demands of businesses today and into the future. Who we are looking for?
We are currently seeking Accounting Graduates to join the Firm.
You will soon be completing your studies and are looking to jump straight into it, or, perhaps you have taken some time for yourself since completing your studies and are now ready to settle into full-time work. You'll possess all of the necessary soft skills; be hardworking, motivated, enthusiastic and curious as well as the capabilities to develop your technical skills. Most importantly, we are looking for people who share our vision and who can not only see the bigger picture but who can also contribute to it.

What you're likely to get involved in?
Whilst the world is your oyster, we need to make sure you have the foundations to begin with. As such, you're likely to undertake the following in your Graduate year:
- Resolve accounting software questions directly with our clients, e.g. How do I process an annual leave payout?
- Resolve general accounting and taxation questions with our clients.
- Liaise with statutory authorities.
- Review client activity statements.
- Finalise year end payroll for clients.
- Prepare annual financial statements.
- Assist in preparing management and board financial reporting.
- Research complex taxation issues with senior staff on behalf of clients.
- Attend client tax planning meetings.
- Attend internal and external training.
- Assist mi-fi wealth team in maintaining client files and records, and prepare documentation to facilitate investment actions.
- Assist in preparing material for financial planning meetings with our wealth clients.
How will you succeed?
To be successful with mi-fi, you'll definitely have a hunger for learning. You'll possess a can-do attitude teamed with loads of initiative. You'll be polished and professional but friendly and down to earth. You will possess strong attention to detail skills and solid planning, organisation and time management skills. You'll also be accountable for your actions and understand the need to be discrete and treat clients with the utmost of integrity.
