At MinterEllison, our Discover ME Program is designed to give pre‑penultimate law students early exposure to commercial law, our people, and the skills needed to succeed in a modern legal career.

The Program
Discover ME is a three‑part program that gives you a genuine insight into what it’s like to work at MinterEllison.

Across the program, you will:

• learn about our practice groups, culture and ways of working
• hear first‑hand career stories from our lawyers
• explore how technology and innovation are shaping legal practice
• gain insight into pathways into commercial law, including our clerkship and graduate programs

You will also be matched with a MinterEllison lawyer mentor. Someone who has recently made the transition from law school to the profession, to support your development and share practical insights.

What we are looking for
The Discover ME Program is open to all pre‑penultimate law students.

We are looking for students who:

• Are curious about a career in commercial law
• Are interested in learning how a leading law firm operates
• Want to develop their understanding of the evolving legal profession

What we offer
The Discover ME Program will run from early to late May 2026.

Successful applicants will:

• attend three in‑person sessions at our offices
• be paired with a lawyer mentor for the duration of the program
• build connections with our lawyers and Early Careers team
• gain a clear understanding of our clerkship recruitment process and graduate program

Throughout the program, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, expand your network, and gain a realistic picture of what a career in commercial law at MinterEllison could look like.
