Fixed Term Full Time
2021 Physiotherapy New-Graduates…This is the experience you have been waiting for!
Monash Health is seeking applicants for its 2022 PHYSIOTHERAPY NEW-GRADUATE PROGRAM. This program is unique as it allows graduates to experience rotations across the continuum of care from acute bed-based services through to community health programs. Permanent and fixed-term opportunities are available.
This is an opportunity to embed skills learnt through undergraduate placements and continue to develop working with experienced and passionate colleagues. These new-graduate positions are an integral part of a large Grade 1 rotation program consisting of 47 rotations all located in South-East Melbourne. Success in the new-graduate program will open opportunities for ongoing employment with Monash Health.
A recent survey revealed that current Grade 1 Physiotherapy employees were highly satisfied with the rotation program which offers:
- Exposure to a variety of clinical settings
- Formal and informal supervision, including peer supervision
- Internal professional development opportunities, including participation in the annual Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology Research Conference
- Involvement in research and quality improvement projects working closely with the Physiotherapy research lead
- Student supervision and leadership roles
- Opportunities for career progression
- Social activities and a fantastic culture!
The formal new-graduate program will commence in early 2022 but we will consider early recruitment (pending AHPRA registration) and initial employment in late 2021 (prior to AHPRA registration) as Allied Health Assistants to kick-start your career with Monash Health.
