I have gained exposure to how Risk provides strategic insight and oversight to ensure NAB takes the right risks, with the right controls, for the right return. In addition to my day-to- day work in Risk, I have had the opportunity to organise Masterclasses hosting leaders and experts across the bank, work with fellow graduates to make our Major Fundraiser a success and spend time in frontline teams to understand our customers.

“The People Division is a nurturing and energetic team that supports NAB employees to develop, grow and perform at their best. Through the Graduate Program I have gained a holistic understanding of the People function with exposure to teams including Recruitment, Leadership, Culture, Talent Management, Workplace Relations and Health, Safety and Wellbeing. I have also experienced over 100 hours in customer facing roles, from global institutional banking to local branches.

As Chair of the Fresh Thinking Committee I have been able to engage with a diverse network of NAB employees and external strategic partners to deliver events that inform, inspire and drive innovation across the NAB community.” – Laura (2016 People Graduate)

“Project and Change Management has provided me with the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of areas across NAB. My rotations have ranged from project inception and financing all the way through to project delivery and managing large scale change across the organisation.

I was drawn to NAB's commitment to diversity and inclusion and am proud to be the Team Coordinator of the African-Australian Inclusion Program (AAIP) committee. The AAIP provides skilled African-Australians 6-month paid work experience. The committee provides support and development opportunities to participants and engages stakeholders from across NAB as well as our community partner.
