About the role

As a Risk Intern, you’ll help support how NAB manages risk across the business, ensuring we make informed, responsible decisions that protect our customers and organisation.

You’ll gain insight into how risk appetite, governance frameworks and oversight are applied across the bank to support long-term sustainability and resilience.

What you’ll do:

• Support initiatives that strengthen risk frameworks and controls
• Analyse problems and contribute to practical, simple solutions
• Apply critical thinking to understand risk impacts on the business
• Challenge thinking and bring curiosity to improve outcomes
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation
• Build employability skills to complement your studies

• Dates: 23 November 2026 – 29 January 2027 (Includes a two-week unpaid break over the festive period)
• Locations: Melbourne & Sydney

Eligibility

• Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident
• In your second-last year of study (undergraduate or postgraduate)
• Degree completion by December 2027
• Be available to commence full-time employment from 23 November 2026 to 29 January 2027
