The Capital Works team is responsible for the execution and delivery of NEXTDC's capital investment projects involving the construction of large-scale base buildings, fitouts, and critical infrastructure expansion projects.

Our strategic priority is to safely and successfully deliver projects to build the home of 'where the cloud lives.'

Working alongside our innovative Engineering and Design Team, we are responsible for contract execution with the Principal Contractors, construction delivery including safety, budget and cost management, programme management, risk mitigation processes, and the quality outcomes of our projects.  You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and successful project execution.

Every day at NEXTDC is an adventure, and as a graduate within the Capital Works team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, from assisting with project planning and documentation management, design co-ordination, to conducting site inspections and learning the ropes of data centre construction. You'll also collaborate with a passionate team of experts, including Project Managers, Cost Consultants, Commercial Managers, Services Managers, Authority Engineers, Programmers, and more, and gain invaluable experience in this dynamic field.

To be eligible for the NEXTDC 2025 graduate program, you will need to:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident
• Have completed your most recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree within the last 3 years of the program start date (ie. February 2025) 
• Be ready to commence full time work at the program start date in February 2025
• Have a degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering - Civil/Structural, Management, Planning and Surveying, or Property
