Why We Have This Role

As a Payroll Specialist for the Asia-Pacific and Japan region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, directly impacting the financial well-being of Qualtrics’ employees and contributing to our success. You will work closely with the Compensation, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and Benefits team to maintain seamless data flow and compliance with company policies and local legislation. This role provides an opportunity to take charge of payroll operations across several entities within the region (Australia, Japan, Singapore, India, South Korea, and Hong Kong) at a company focused on making business more human!

Things You’ll Do

  • Ensure Accurate Payroll Processing: Process monthly payrolls accurately and timely, reflecting data changes.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee external payroll vendors and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Data Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promptly collect and verify payroll-related data.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Conduct audits to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Statutory Filings and Reporting: Manage annual returns and statutory filings related to payroll and benefits.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile payroll items and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business-related major. Even better if you have studied finance, accounting, banking, mathematics and/or actuarial studies. 
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in analysing data.
  • Ability to handle high-volume workloads and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
