Our Vacation Program

As a Vacation Student in the Risk Advisory Division team, you will get a head start on your career by obtaining valuable practical experience during your summer university break. Learning from the best and brightest minds in the business world, RSM will help launch your career by offering:

• Assistance in preparation of valuations, financial modelling and forecasting, financial investigation and due diligence!

In our Risk Advisory Division team we help organisations identify, assess and manage risks. These can take the form of:

• Internal Audit – providing independent assurance over your governance, risk management and internal controls.
• Cyber Security and Resilience – deliver practical solutions to protect critical systems from threats
• Fraud & Forensic Services – preventing, detecting and responding to fraud, misconduct and financial crime
• Climate Change & Sustainability – helping client understand climate-related risks, strengthen sustainability reporting & respond to evolving regulatory requirements.

In our vacationer program you will work within one of the above teams, building and developing your skills.

When does it start?

Depending on the team you apply for, the vacation program will start in late 2026 or early 2027.

Who you are:
 
The Risk Advisory team at RSM are interested in motivated and enthusiastic Vacation Students who possess the following skillsets and experiences:

• Penultimate year students completing a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting, Finance or Law;
• Willingness to work autonomously and in a collaborative team environment;
• Strong problem-solving skills as well as an enthusiasm to learn;
• A can-do attitude and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
