SOCIAL MEDIA, MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS - EMERGENCY RELIEF (VOLUNTEER)

Diamond Valley Community Support, Inc. (DVCS) is a community-based and managed registered charity, providing a group of services including emergency relief, information, support and a range of volunteering and referral services to residents of Banyule City Council, Shire of Nillumbik and the wider community. Over 2,000 people benefit from our services each year.

Working closely with the Executive Officer, and PR and Marketing Officer, the Social Media, Marketing and Communications - Emergency Relief Volunteer position will be responsible for posting and sharing posts on social media platforms (largely facebook) to help raise awareness in the community of the DVCS emergency relief program, and how our partnerships and social enterprise operations help to strengthen our emergency relief program, and further, how we assist our community partners, like Share the Dignity, Foodbank, OzHarvest, etc. all help to strengthen our community.

The position will be key in helping to create the messaging that helps to link the DVCS social enterprises and wider partnerships to the emergency relief program.
