Graduate Engineer - Immediate Start

These solutions are based on extensive engineering expertise, technology and systems that ensure the highest standards of quality, occupational health, safety and environmental management.

Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for 30 years and employee over 180 people.

An exciting opportunity exists for an early career or graduate Engineer to work within our WA operations to assist with the delivery of projects statewide. You will be part of a highly collaborative and supportive team with the opportunity to make your mark and grow with the company.

We are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualified degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent;
  • A background within the Civil Construction industry with a suitable understanding of construction projects, work activities, resources with sound plant capability and productivity knowledge;
  • Someone who is a good communicator, flexible and eager to learn
  • Someone who has strong project management skills and able to work as a team. 

This position offers an attractive salary package commensurate with experience and the full use of a company vehicle plus the necessary training and mentoring to help you succeed and progress with the company. This role will be based out of our head office in Welshpool WA, you will be required to complete site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the operations manager in the managing of projects and resources for the WA operations.
  • Assist in the review of the designs, specifications for the relevant projects and/or tenders
  • Work closely and liaise with all members of the team, in relation to the delivering of goods and services on projects in the estimated timeframe
  • Demonstrating and implementing safe work practices at all times onsite and at the depot
  • Ensure prompt identification and reporting of health and safety risks

Essential Criteria:

  • Someone who has recently completed their degree
  • Experience in Civil Construction
  • Ability to work with tendering
  • Eager to learn and develop
