Accounts Assistant

The Position:

• We’re looking for Accounts Assistant Intern.

Required

• Sound numeracy skills, attention to detail and processing accuracy
• Qualifications in business or accounting
• Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, identify and deal with internal issues
• Intermediate-Advanced Excel skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with excellent understanding of the English language

Day to Day Accounts

• Process bills for payment
• Process vendor invoices
• Maintain files and electronic records
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
• Update and maintain accounts database
• Track and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies as needed
• Contact operations managers to correct any discrepancies for payroll and invoicing purposes
• Recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial support documents
• Expense claim checks comparing supporting financial documents from site managers necessary for reimbursement purposes.
• Reconciliation of debtors’ payments and bank statement
• Debt chasing with client
• Reviewing and sending remittance advice to suppliers
