Assistant Accountant

We are looking to hire enthusiastic accounting students and graduates with attention to detail and strong communication skills to fill various temporary and permanent accounting roles within our reputable clients.
 
As an Assistant Accountant, you will be working within the finance departments of multinational companies or in reputable CA and CPA firms under the supervision of highly experienced and qualified accountants who will support and train you on the job. Some of your job duties may include:

• Ledger Entry and Book-keeping
• Income and Expenditure Reports, Profit and Loss Statements, and Trial Balances
• Business Activity Statements & Tax reports
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Bank Reconciliations and Petty Cash Reconciliations
• Payroll Preparation
• Tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, superannuation, etc.

You will get the opportunity to practice what you have learned at university, learn industry skills and at the same time prove your worth to secure long-term employment with the business.

You will be paid above $30 per hour while on temporary contracts and above $60,000 per year once hired on a permanent basis.
