  • Read contract thoroughly and make schedule of all contract requirement that are required for the project.
  • Prepare a procurement schedule with all supplier and sub-contractor packages.
  • Send tender packages to all suppliers and sub-contractors. Minimum of 3 suppliers/sub-contractors.
  • Ensure all tenders have included for everything within the tender.
  • Undertake a quote comparison for each package on excel format for approval from senior management.
  • Once approved, send a PO with subcontractor agreement and scope of works. This must be signed and sent back to the office for filing.
  • Update the procurement schedule detailing the package and input any inclusions and exclusions the site management team should be aware of.
  • Procurement schedule will have tabs for the inputting of the delivery schedules. The delivery schedules will have delivery dates of 2 days before the contract programme.
  • Ensure the suppliers understand that the dates are critical and any issues need to be raised straight away.
  • Once the delivery schedules have been completed a project forecast needs to be completed till the end of the project and submitted to senior management for approval.
  • If the contract programme is delayed, then the delivery schedule will be updated, and the delay will be notified to the client. The notification to the client must be approved by senior management.
