A motor parts manufacturing company is looking for a last year graduate student to gain local experience with their procurement team. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to learn under an experienced manager in the following areas: -

  • Investigate the stock and supply challenges within existing processes.
  • Undertake an in-depth feasibility analysis, taking into account variables such as initial capital investment, ongoing maintenance expenses, spatial constraints, and foreseeable obstacles.
  • Evaluate and select the optimal solution from the provided options or a blend thereof.
  • Compute potential cost savings, reductions in labor expenditure, and enhancements in efficiency based on both the volume and value of goods.
  • Propose tailored solutions aligned with our unique requirements.
  • Determine the return on investment (ROI).
  • Execute the chosen solution.
  • Verify the achieved savings and document the outcomes.

Requirement:

Relevant qualification: Student with Supply Chain and Logistics and Mechanical Engineering (Management) background can upscale their your knowledge working in these areas. 

Availability: Part time 3 days a week to start ASAP. 

Dedication: to learn and perform. 

The role will be for 3 months, unpaid, to gain valued work experience under our Professional Internship Program.
