Swire Mining Logistics and Industrial (Swire MLI) comprises of two businesses, HSE and Kalari. Kalari specialises in bulk logistics for the mining and resources sector and HSE is a contract mining operation specialising in large scale mining fleets and associated services.

We do business all over Australia. During your time at Swire, you could find yourself on assignment in any of our businesses locations. Assignments are generalist in nature, and we expect to see value being added in areas which are new and unfamiliar. You will begin your time with Swire MLI at our head office in Port Melbourne, Victoria learning about the inner workings of a business by assisting our Support Services team which contributes across all areas of the group. After that, you will have the opportunity to work in an area that interests you and benefits your development, which may be out in the operations learning about customer and workforce dynamics firsthand or in the Corporate office.

We are looking for a graduate from a academic background who is committed to their own development and is flexible and driven to seize opportunities. To be considered for the graduate position, you will need to possess the following:
- A recent university bachelor’s degree (all disciplines welcome)
- Strong leadership potential and demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A high degree of self-motivation
- An interest in the industrial and resources sector
- Flexibility and willingness to relocate for work within Australia, including to regional locations
