About the Summer Vacation Program
Our Summer Vacation Program, which starts in November this year, will give you 12-weeks of paid, challenging, hands-on and rewarding work experience.
It has been specifically designed to ensure you’re provided with immersive development and learning opportunities. It also feeds into our Telstra Graduate Program, which means if you’re one of our top performers you’ll be considered for early offers and will join us when you graduate.
Throughout the Program, you’ll be supported by our leaders and one of our current graduates. Plus you’ll be exposed to the cutting edge and innovative work our talented teams are doing in areas such as Internet of Things (IoT) 5G, Cyber Security, Artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies.
Our Summer Vacation Program is open to university students in the penultimate year of their studies of a minimum three year undergraduate degree from an Australian university or those undertaking their master’s degree. So you will need to be graduating in 2020 in order to be eligible.
International Students on Visa 500, 573, 574 may be eligible to apply if they meet the following criteria:
- Are due to graduate in 2020 and are applying for our network engineering, software engineering, information and cyber security, data analytics and management, and tech consulting pathways.
- If studying a Masters’ degree, the duration must be a minimum of two years of study at an Australian University. 12 or 18-month masters are not accepted.
- Provide a copy of your English Test Scores – minimum benchmarks apply.
