OUR TEAM

As a Graduate Graphic Designer at Thales, you will support our visual communications by creating engaging designs that reflect our brand and business goals. Collaborating with communications and marketing teams, you’ll deliver creative solutions across print, digital, and multimedia platforms to strengthen both internal and external messaging.

This is a full-time permanent role based in Rydalmere with Hybrid working arrangements.

YOUR ROLE

  • Design and produce marketing collateral (brochures, presentations, infographics, social media, digital assets)

  • Create and edit visuals for internal communications, events, and campaigns

  • Collaborate with communications, designers, and stakeholders to deliver on briefs

  • Ensure all work aligns with Thales’ brand guidelines and visual identity

  • Prepare artwork for print and digital with accuracy and quality

  • Stay current with design trends and contribute fresh ideas

  • Review and assure quality of supplier-delivered graphics

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with experience using visual AI tools

  • Portfolio showcasing creativity, technical design skills, and adaptability across media

  • Skilled in preparing and adapting visuals for web, social, and other digital channels

  • Strong grasp of brand guidelines with proactive, solutions-focused problem solving

  • Effective communicator and collaborative team player

 

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.
