Potential Teams

1. TikTok Live Revenue team 

TikTok Live Revenue Engineering team is responsible for building the cutting-edge revenue ecosystem which includes gifting and other revenue features that are innovative, secure and intuitive for our users. As an important member of the engineering team, you will build solutions that affect millions of users and live streamers.  

2. TikTok Live Campaign Team 

TikTok Live Campaign Team explores the potential needs of users, building new operation scenarios, and through short-term incentives/guidance and other means, campaigns can attract user attention, encourage user contributions, and strengthen user awareness, therefore leading to noticeable business metric increase. Efficiently support activities through front-end technology and explore diverse ways to play.  

3. TikTok Live Client Team 

TikTok Live Client team has been focusing on delivery engaging and the best live streaming experience to global users. Our team develops creative and interesting features for streamers and viewers to express themselves and interact with others instantly. We are looking for passionate mobile software engineers to join us in this fast growing industry.  

We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2024. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. Watch your ambitions become reality as your inspiration brings infinite opportunities at TikTok.   

Successful candidates must be able to commit to an off-cycle internship 3 to 6 months period from January 2023, committing on a full-time basis for the first 3 months. 

The following types of roles exist: Frontend Engineer Intern, Backend Engineer Intern, Mobile Engineer Intern (iOS/Android).  

We will prioritize candidates who can commit to the above-mentioned internship period. Please state your availability clearly in your resume (Start date, End date). If you have a preference for either Backend, Frontend or Mobile roles, please also indicate this in your CV.  Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order you apply. Qualifications

- Undergraduate, or Postgraduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline 

- Proficiency in coding & scripting languages such as C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript or Python 

- Solid understanding of computer science and strong problem solving skills 

- Good team communication and collaboration skills 

- Prior experience in mobile development (Android/iOS apps) is a plus for candidates interested in Mobile Engineer intern roles
