2026 Graduate Program - Construction Economics

The Construction Economics team research and analyse economic and construction market data to assess the likely trajectory of construction costs for Turner & Townsend clients and their projects. These insights can be in a range of formats, including bespoke written reports, price indices, modelling, and presentations. 

The role of the successful candidate will be to support the team with research, analysis, and development of these outputs for both clients and the internal business.  

  • Conducting research and analysis on global and local economic data,
  • Sourcing key statistics and keeping the team’s databases up to date,
  • Tracking major construction projects across the country,
  • Preparation of charts and graphs using key data,
  • Assisting with writing commentary for client report and internal documents

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual who is:

  • Data-driven: you are comfortable working with Excel and large datasets and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Curious and analytical: You are eager to ask questions, understand the “why” behind trends, and dig deeper into the drivers of change.
  • Strong researcher: You are able to gather, interpret, and synthesise information from a variety of sources to support robust analysis.
  • Collaborative and communicative: You are ready to work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to team discussions with insight and initiative.
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
