UBS - SUPER 2024 Trainee (12 months)

Your role

Do you want to work for a global leader in the financial world? We’re offering Year 2023 or Year 2024 university graduates a 12-month work-study learning program that sets you up for success.

The UBS Singapore University Program for Employability and Resilience (UBS-SUPER) will offer a unique curriculum which includes on the job industry-specific training, and mentoring to get you career ready. This will help you build your professional network and take on real responsibility in an environment that’s designed for you to thrive, and you’ll get to see how a global bank works from front to back. In addition to the focus on your upskilling, you will also be given an allowance of SGD3k per month.

Our program is based on our 3E framework – Education, Exposure and Experience, which we consistently use in our student programs. Our aim is simple: what you learn while studying, you apply in your day-to-day work. You’ll be able to develop and strengthen your skills through rotation opportunities, giving you insight into other areas of the firm. Our study sessions are designed to give you a foundational understanding of banking and finance, and help you build key skills that will help you along your career path. You will be immersed in our daily work life for four days a week and will complement this practical experience with one day of training per week.

The study curriculum is delivered by UBS experts, external partners, and local tertiary institutions.

Your expertise

You need to have graduated or be graduating from a university in 2023 or 2024 and have the right to work in Singapore and it doesn’t matter what you’re studying (really, it doesn’t), as long as you have a passion for learning and an interest in the financial services industry.

We are looking for candidates who can join us by July 2024.

There’s more than one way to fulfil a skillset. Have you organized a fundraising event? This is taking ownership and getting it done. Gotten lost and asked for directions? This is analyzing and coming to a decision. Think about what you’ve achieved over the course of your education, and how you can use this to match the skills we’re looking for. The more creative the better.
