As UNIQLO continues to open new stores every year, hundreds of graduates around the globe join the “UNIQLO Management Candidate” program (UMC). Our Uniqlo Manager Candidate program is a year-long intensive master class on not only being a manager, but how to become a Global Business Leader! As a UNIQLO Manager, you will wear many hats such as an innovator, talent developer and a problem solver. With our support and guidance, you will take on the challenge of being a business owner, overseeing sales & inventory planning, layout & visual merchandising, profit & loss, people management and customer satisfaction.

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS

During your program, you will undertake examinations at certain checkpoints to evaluate your capabilities and knowledge to decide if you need more time to hone your skills or if you are ready to be the next in line to manage your own multi-million revenue making store. All over the world, many UMC’s have leveraged their extensive experience as managers to take on further leadership opportunities locally or globally within our corporate headquarters or continue their journey in operations!

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• You have the right to work on a full-time permanent basis (ideally you hold an Australian Citizen or Permanent Residency)
• You are available to start working full time from September 2023 or March 2024
• You hold or are about to obtain a Bachelors degree (minimum) in any discipline
• You are flexible to work at weekdays, weekends, public holidays and some evenings across various shifts
• You are flexible to move to different states as needed after the completion of your program (or if you’re located in SA or WA, you will need to move to a different state to complete the program)
• You are passionate and have a strong drive to develop your commercial and leadership skills
• You have excellent organizational and time management skills and can prioritize competing workloads
• You have demonstrated ability to think logically, make decisions and solve problems by being innovative
