Our Ventia Graduate Program is designed to turn potential into performance. This tailored two-year program provides experience across diverse, projects through 4 structured one on one rotations. This role is designed to accelerate your development in data science and analytics, allowing you to build practical skills and contribute to impactful initiatives. 

 

In just two years, you'll develop practical experience in data analysis, reporting, visualisation, and insight generation, working with industry standard tools to solve real business challenges and fast track your transition from university to industry. Supported by senior mentors and a dedicated graduate buddy, you'll be guided every step of the way as you gain real work experience and make a real impact across the communities and industries we serve.

  • Bachelor of Data Science 
  • Bachelor of Analytics / Business Analytics 
  • Bachelor of Statistics / Mathematics (data focused) 

 

To be eligible for the Ventia Graduate Program, you must meet the following criteria:   

  • Successfully completed relevant undergraduate degree in the last two years or be in your final semester of study.   
  • Hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship, Permanent residency, or Graduate Visa 485 (valid until the end of 2028). 
  • Willingness to travel and relocate for the duration of the rotation.   

 

Responsibilities 

  • Support data preparation, analysis, reporting, and insight generation activities. 
  • Develop skills in statistical analysis, data visualisation, and data driven decision making. 
  • Collaborate with teams to solve complex business challenges and deliver actionable insights. 
  • Utilise industry standard tools and methodologies to improve data quality and reporting accuracy. 

 

Skills & Requirements  

  • Strong analytical, computational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with adaptability and a willingness to learn. 
  • Resilient, curious, and accountable when tackling new challenges. 
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Preferred experience in data analysis, visualisation, or reporting through academic, professional, or internship projects. 
  • Demonstrated initiative and commitment to development through leadership, extracurricular activities, certifications, competitions, or personal projects.
